SIS 80 Towards a world MAP community

This session delves into various innovative developments in the realm of digital maps. Beyond the shift towards High-Definition maps and featured maps, ongoing advancements include new map initiatives, progress in MAP data exchange standards such as the EU TN-ITS, and emerging methodologies for map service delivery. These innovations are poised to enable or give rise to entirely new applications within the domains of Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS) and Connected and Cooperative Automated Mobility (CCAM). Additionally, the session will explore the implementation and realization of evolving regulations, such as the EU RRTI delegated regulation. This forward-looking discussion brings together leading MAP innovators in an initiative aimed at navigating these evolutions with a time-to-market focus. The session, facilitated by the Session Information System (SIS), assembles distinguished experts from globally recognized MAP makers, fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas both within the panel and with the audience.
