Different regions in the world have different approaches and challenges for R&I, testing, assessment, demonstration, and deployment of CCAM. Some regions are more advanced in technology deployment, while others have focused on improving the necessary infrastructure, addressing social or urban issues, or developing standards and harmonised frameworks. These different approaches often reflect the local social, policy or regulation contexts, which may not be applicable elsewhere, but they also offer opportunities for learning and sharing best practices that can help other regions plan their next steps. International collaboration is crucial for R&I, as it allows sharing of resources, knowledge, lessons learned and developing harmonised approaches and methodologies that work across borders. Analyzing successful CCAM implementations and contrasting policy contexts provides insights for efficient deployment and policy development. This session will feature global speakers sharing CCAM R&I and deployment experiences, followed by an interactive discussion on leveraging these insights for regional advancement.
